Currently residing on the North Fork of Long Island, Alex Ferrone has been cultivating a personalized artistic approach to still life photography through the investigation of found objects and natural settings
As a Fine Art Photographer, Alex has worked with both lens and pinhole cameras to produce her work. December 2005 marked Alex’s debut Solo Exhibition in Florence, Italy, with text written by European art critic Giuliano Serafini. Alex has had two-person exhibits in Northport and Peconic, and has also exhibited her work within group shows in Italy and New York. In 2007, she was invited to exhibit her work in the Festival Della Creatività in Florence. As a Featured Artist of the Week on WLIW - Public Television Channel 21, her work made its television debut in 2006, and has also been featured on DigiChannel.net broadband site.
Her fine art abstracts have been published in the Pinhole Resource’s Pinhole Journal, and her representational photography has been featured on the cover of the North Fork Promotion Council’s 2007 and 2008 North Fork Guide, as well as within the 2009 Guide. Her photography has been internationally published in Singapore’s luxury yachting magazine Latitude One Degree 15, and nationally in numerous publications including Power & Motoryacht Magazine, NYS Travel & Tourism Guide, LICVB Travel Guide, and The New York Post. Commissioned fine art photography works include producing photographic images for two ballets for Italy’s Florence Dance Company. ~~~
