Currently residing on the North Fork of Long Island, Alex Ferrone has been cultivating a personalized artistic approach to still life photography through the investigation of found objects and natural settings in New York.
As an emerging Fine Art Photographer, Alex has worked with both lens and pinhole cameras to produce her work. This past November, Alex was invited to exhibit 24 Abstracts at the Festival della Creatività in Florence, Italy. Florence was also where Alex's 2005 debut Solo Exhibition was presented with text written by European art critic Giuliano Serafini. Alex had a two-person exhibit in 2006 in Northport, and has also exhibited her work within group shows in Italy and New York. As a Featured Artist of the Week on WLIW - Public Television Channel 21, her work made its television debut in April of 2006, and has also been featured on DigiChannel.net broadband site.
Her fine art abstracts have been published in the Pinhole Resource’s Pinhole Journal, and her representational photography is currently featured on the cover of Long Island’s 2008 North Fork Guide. Her photography has also been internationally published as well in Singapore’s luxury yachting magazine Latitude One Degree 15. Commissioned fine art photography works include producing photographic images for two ballets for Italy’s Florence Dance Company. ~~~
